Mission Statement

The mission of the Walton Middle School counseling department is to deliver comprehensive and effective services that will empower students to become life-long learners. All students will have equitable access to counseling services in the areas of social/emotional development, academic achievement, and career development. We will know and advocate for every student, and develop partnerships with school personnel, families, and community resources.

Accessing Counseling Services

New Student Registration

Student Registration

If you would like to enroll a new student or request records for a transferring student, please contact Karen Collier at 434-977-6533 or kcollier@k12albemarle.org.

We will hold a New Student Orientation on July 30 from 9:00 -12:00 for any 7th or 8th grader transferring into Walton or any 6th grader who did not attend Scottsville, Red Hill, Mountain View, or Stone-Robinson.

Rising 9th grade students who are interested in Scholars Studios can complete this interest form. Please note that this is a request and space may be limited for some Studios.
